Home...Or Not

We're home, sort of. I'm back in Barrett for one last day of vacation (well, catching up on bills, cleaning the house, buying groceries, etc - but I will play a round of golf today!). Beloved and Ainsley have stayed in the cities to be with her sister and brother-in-law, who are going through a really rough time right now with some medical stuff. Pray for them, if you would.

Of course, I'll provide a full spread of pics and stories from our east coast vacation soon, but Beloved has the camera at the moment. Until then, I'll leave you with this shirt, which I've just GOT to get sometime soon:

Thanks to LutheranChik and GoingJesus.com for a good laugh this morning.

  1. Scott, do you have any idea where I can get one of these shirts? I want one, too!

  2. The LutheranChik & Going Jesus links on the post should get you there - if not, I think you can find the shirts at cafepress.com

  3. So will I go to hell if I wear one of these shirts? Can I wear it to my Church Council meetings?

  4. Silly reforming Roman Catholics - always so worried about hell! :-) You're baptized; enjoy the freedom of assured forgiveness if, in fact, dropping the f-bomb is indeed a venial sin.

I think Jesus might even get a bit of a chuckle out of this one - I know there must have been times when he said it himself in relation to the latest misstep by the disciples.

As to your Council, well, you're on your own. :-)

  5. I know I'm a little late in the discussion--but if you like this tshirt, I think you'd love a book by Christopher Moore called Lamb--The Gospel According to Biff, Jesus' Childhood Best Friend. Check it out!
