I seem to remember that's how I was introduced to it. BTW, you can download Symphony #4 on iTunes.

Deb - big head or little head? ;-)

HCL - I thought Boy George was cool - what the hell was wrong with us?

Chris - Persistence of Memory is interesting, but like you, the religious works are more intriguing to me.

Diane - tell my confirmation class what you just said! :-)Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00157331552693781962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20942227.post-85523765258837699212007-08-24T19:14:00.000-05:002007-08-24T19:14:00.000-05:00The Lord of the Rings Symphony was fun. I like the older British version better anyway. Zaphod in the new version reminds me of a president from Crawford.. did I say that?Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07077252518911858612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20942227.post-77779577953931866992007-08-24T18:10:00.000-05:002007-08-24T18:10:00.000-05:00okay i so laughed when i saw your culture club ref...okay i so laughed when i saw your culture club reference...80's child you must be. now... we also have in common that i was in an Inherit the Wind production - about 10 yrs ago... played the teacher's girlfriend/wife whatever... been too long ago. good play.

AND Dali? wow. he blows my mind and there's so much to be grasped although his depticion of the lord's supper entirely creeps me out.Hot Cup Lutheranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00125425492709186198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20942227.post-27276840710730893892007-08-24T14:37:00.000-05:002007-08-24T14:37:00.000-05:00I have a print of that Dali work hanging in my hom...I have a print of that Dali work hanging in my home. The original is an outstanding piece - so grand in so many ways . . . Dali has been popularized on college campuses by his paintings of melting clocks and the like, but his The Discovery of America, Ecumenical Council, Last Supper, and others are just moving. Prints of a few of his religious sketches hang in my home and office . . .Chris Duckworthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15569502792071232013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20942227.post-56960392727038033382007-08-24T11:58:00.000-05:002007-08-24T11:58:00.000-05:00I like your engagement with "inherit the wind."
