This will be one I'll have to hold on to for the day when all we get as parents is the disgust and outrage of a fourteen year-old girl denied what she wants. Somehow it's hard to imagine this little one ever yelping, "But Da-a-ad! That's not F-A-I-R!"

ReplyDeleteI used to, in my other life, teach & Supervise in Day Care....mainly 3 to 5 years old. The courses in Early Childhood Education (U of T) need to be taught in stages throughout school years. Starting with parents, teachers,.....right through university.
It was a grounding in being human, accepting yourself, so you could accept others.
